Moo Cards Offering Fun Facebook Business Cards

I just got a free pack of fun business cards from moo.com, a UK company with their US office in East Providence, Rhode Island (my home state), that produces Facebook Timeline inspired cards here and in Europe.  The free 50 cards you can make with their Facebook Application come to you in the neat package that looks like a toner cartridge shown below.  The cards have a front and back and allow you to customize the information you have on the card.  What comes to you is a gorgeous bit of whimsy that transfers online presence to something in your hands that you can share, for business or for pleasure.

Will We Ever See More Farscape Episodes?

Having recently gone through the run of Farscape seasons on Netflix and pulled out my Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars DVDs, I remembered what a great show Farscape was.  Farscape with it's combination of live action and puppetry, science fiction and one liners was unique.  I wonder if and when we will ever see new episodes of Farscape.  Some time ago, webisodes had been rumored and even announced, but never came to pass and now creator Rockne S. Obannon has sold a new show to the CW network that the WB had rejected six years ago, how strange!  Alas it looks like for now that those who think of the little DRD whenever they hear the 1812 Overture and want more Farscape stories will have to read the comics.

Star Wars Blueprints Book Would Make Any Star Wars Geek Squeal in Delight!

This book didn't make it under many Christmas Trees, surely for it's price alone but this over 30 pound, 336 page book would make any Star Wars geek squeal in delight.  It's a book of blueprints and production drawings from all of the Star Wars movies.  It looks absolutely gorgeous as shown in the website for the book here.  At $1,000 for a hand numbered version or $500 (Amazon.com has it for $450) for the limited edition, it's a budget blaster for most who can only dream geek dreams about this beautiful book.
